10-year-old caught dealing cocaine from his home

Jerusalem Post

A 10-year old boy was caught dealing hard drugs from his house in Lod while his parents were at home, Central District Police said on Thursday.

They picked the boy up after staking out the building where he lived and watching him sell five packets of cocaine to a 46-year-old drug addict, said Superintendent Sharon Mazuz.

The police entered the house, but because the minor is under the age of 12, officers were not allowed to arrest him, spokeswoman Limor Gueta said. They could only question him before passing him onto the social services to decide his future.

During a search of the house, the police didn't find any more drugs but they did discover NIS 3,150, although the mother rejected accusations that the money was from drug dealing.

It's good for kids to have a part time job.

This story is insane. I wonder if the baggies were preweighed or if the kid was actually weighing shit out himself. My guess is preweighed, and he was just selling it for his parents or something. In any case, I wouldn't trust a 10-year old kid weighing out my drugs.
